Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
