We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
