Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Nay! I swear by the day of resurrection. 1 Nay! I swear by the self-accusing soul. 2 Does man think that We shall not gather his bones? 3 Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. 4 Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins. 5 He asks: "When will the Day of Resurrection be?" 6 But [on that Day,] when the eyesight is by fear confounded, 7 And the moon shall be ecliped. 8 And the sun and the moon will be united. 9 Man shall say on that day: Whither to fly to? 10 Alas! No refuge! 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat on that day. 12 On that day man is told the tale of that which he hath sent before and left behind. 13 He shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 even though they make excuses. 15 Move not thy tongue with it to hasten it; 16 Surely its collection and recitation are Our responsibility. 17 So, as We recite it, follow its reading. 18 Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 That day will faces be resplendent, 22 Looking at their Lord. 23 And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted, 24 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them. 25 Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit), 26 and people ask, "Is there any wizard [that could save him]?" 27 And he is sure that it is the (hour of) parting 28 and calf is inter-twined with calf. 29 unto thy Lord that Day is the drive. 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
