And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
