It is God who has given you the night in which to rest and the day in which to see. God is truly bountiful to people, but most people do not give thanks. 61 Allah (Who bestowed all these favours upon you) is your Lord, the Creator of everything. There is no god but He. Whence are you, then, being led astray? 62 Thus are deluded those who are wont to reject the Signs of Allah. 63 Allah it is Who made the earth a dwelling place for you and made the sky a canopy, Who shaped you -- and shaped you exceedingly well -- and gave you good things as sustenance. That is Allah, your Lord; blessed be Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 64 He is the Living: there is no god but He so call upon Him, making religion pure for Him. All praise unto Allah, the Lord of the worlds! 65 ۞ Say: 'I am forbidden to serve those you call on apart from God once the clear signs came to me from my Lord; and I am commanded to surrender to the Lord of All Being.' 66 He it is Who created you from dust, then from a small lifegerm, then from a clot, then He brings you forth as a child, then that you may attain your maturity, then that you may be old-- and of you there are some who are caused to die before-- and that you may reach an appointed term, and that you may understand. 67 He it is who gives life and causes death; and when He decrees a matter, He but says to it, "Be," and it is. 68
