In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ha Mim: 1 A Revelation from (Allah), Most Gracious, Most Merciful;- 2 A Book, the verses of which are distinguished, an Arabic Koran for a nation who know. 3 Announcing happy news and warnings. And yet most of them are averse and do not listen, 4 And they say, "Our hearts are within coverings from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a partition, so work; indeed, we are working." 5 Say: "I am a man like you, (but) it is revealed to me that your God is one God, so take the straight path to Him, and ask Him to forgive your sins. Woe to the idolaters 6 who pay not the alms, and disbelieve in the world to come. 7 (As for) those who believe and do good, they shall surely have a reward never to be cut off. 8

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
