Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
