The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 When they sat by it, 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
