The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
