The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
