The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
