The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
