Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 Many a face will be disgraced on that day. 2 Laboring, toiling, 3 They will enter in the hot blazing Fire, 4 their drink shall be from a boiling spring. 5 For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant 6 which will neither fatten them nor satisfy them. 7 On that very Day some faces shall be radiant with joy, 8 Well-pleased with their endeavour, 9 in a sublime garden, 10 Where they shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood, 11 There is a stream of running water in it; 12 raised couches, 13 and goblets placed ready, 14 and cushions arrayed in rows, 15 and carpets spread out. 16 Will they not then consider the camels, how they are created? 17 And the heavens, how it was raised high; 18 And at the mountains, how firmly they are reared? 19 And at the earth, how it is spread out? 20 Therefore advise; indeed you are a proclaimer of advice. (The Holy Prophet is a Remembrance from Allah.) 21 and are not invested with the authority to compel them. 22 But if any turn away and reject Allah,- 23 God shall chastise him with the greatest chastisement. 24 for behold, unto Us will be their return, 25 Then it will be for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
