O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and perverts, and the rumour-mongers of Madinah, do not desist even now, We shall rouse you against them, so they would not be able to live but a short time in the city with you. 60 They will be condemned wherever they are and will be sized and done away with for good. 61 (Such has been) the course of Allah with respect to those who have gone before; and you shall not find any change in the course of Allah. 62 Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh! 63 Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. 64 Wherein they will abide for ever. They will find (then) no protecting friend nor helper. 65 The day their faces would be turned on the fire (as on a spit), they will say: "Alas! If only we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Prophet." 66 And they would say: "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path. 67 Our Lord, give them chastisement twofold, and curse them with a mighty curse!' 68
