The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
