Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 You will be shown hell 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
