T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent the Quran to make you, (Muhammad), miserable, 2 But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allah). 3 A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens, 4 The Compassionate on the Throne is established. 5 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 But when he came close to it, a voice called out: "O Moses! 11 I am your Lord! Take off your sandals, for you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 I am God, and there is no god but I, so serve Me, and observe acts of prayer to remember Me. 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Musa! 17 He said: This is my staff: I recline on it and I beat the leaves with it to make them fall upon my sheep, and I have other uses for it. 18 (Allah) said, "Throw it, O Moses!" 19 So he threw it down, and lo! it was a rapidly moving snake. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 Put your hand under your armpit: it will come out [shining] white, without any blemish. This shall be another sign. 22 We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 And go to Pharaoh now for he has transgressed all bounds." 24
