Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24
We sent Noah to his people. He told them, "Worship God for He is your only Lord. I am afraid of the punishment that you might suffer on the great Day (of Judgment)". 59 A group of his people said to him, "You are absolutely wrong." 60 [Noah] said, "O my people, there is not error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds." 61 I convey to you the messages of my Lord, give you sincere advice, and I know from Allah that which you do not know. 62 Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy." 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people. 64
