The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
