Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
