Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

May both the hands of Abu Lahab be destroyed – and they are destroyed! 1 His wealth avails him not, neither what he has earned; 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
