And He is the Supreme, above His servants, and He sends keepers over you; until when death comes to one of you, Our apostles cause him to die, and they are not remiss. 61 (After death) you will all be returned to God, your true Guardian. Know that judgment will be in His Hands and that His reckoning is swift. 62 Say: "Who is it that saves you from the dark dangers of land and sea [when] you call unto Him humbly, and in the secrecy of your hearts, 'If He will but save us from this [distress,] we shall most certainly be among the grateful'?" 63 Say, "It is God who always saves you from (such hardship) and from all kinds of distress. Even then, you consider idols equal to God." 64 Say: 'He is Able to send forth upon you punishment from above you or beneath your feet, or to divide you into discordant factions, and to make some of you taste the affliction of the other' Look how We make plain Our verses, in order that they understand. 65 But your people (O Muhammad SAW) have denied it (the Quran) though it is the truth. Say: "I am not responsible for your affairs." 66 For every announcement is a set time; and presently ye shall know. 67 When thou seest those who plunge into Our signs, turn away from them until they plunge into some other talk; or if Satan should make thee forget, do not sit, after the reminding, with the people of the evildoers. 68 for whom those who are conscious of God are in no wise accountable. Theirs, however, is the duty to admonish [the sinners,] so that they might become conscious of God. 69 And forsake those who have made their religion a mockery and play, and whom the worldly life has deceived – and advise them with this Qur’an so that a soul may not be seized for what it earns; other than Allah it will not have a protector nor an intercessor; and if it offers every recompense in exchange for itself, it will not be accepted from it; these are the ones who are seized for their own deeds; for them is boiling water to drink and a painful punishment, as a recompense of their disbelief. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessors.) 70
