1/4 Hizb 3
< random >
O you who believe, seek courage in fortitude and prayer, for God is with those who are patient and persevere. 153 Do not say that those killed in the Way of Allah are dead, they are alive, although you are unaware. 154 Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, 155 who, when calamity befalls them, say: "Verily, unto God do we belong and verily, unto Him we shall return." 156 are the ones who will have blessings and mercy from their Lord: it is they who are on the right path! 157 ۞ Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing. 158 Verily those who hide that which We have sent down of evidence and the guidance, after We have expounded it unto mankind in the Book, these! curseth them Allah, and shall curse them the cursers 159 Except those who repent and amend and make manifest (the truth). These it is toward whom I relent. I am the Relenting, the Merciful. 160 But those who deny, and die disbelieving, bear the condemnation of God and the angels and that of all men, 161 They will abide therein (under the curse in Hell), their punishment will neither be lightened, nor will they be reprieved. 162 Your Deity is Allah alone: there is no deity save the All-Beneficent and All-Merciful Allah. 163

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
