Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
The people of al-Hijr also rejected Our messengers: 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 and whatever they had been earning proved of no avail. 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 We have indeed bestowed on you the seven oft-repeated verses and the Great Qur'an. 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 About all what they used to do. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Surely We suffice to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 And indeed We know that you are disheartened by their speech. 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 And go on worshipping your Lord till the certainty (of death) comes upon you. 99
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
