And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 But they shall reject their worship and turn against them. 82
