The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
