The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
