The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
