Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
