The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness those who stand arrayed in rows, 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21
