The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] who range themselves in close ranks 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
