Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
