ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
