Did you not see those who dispute concerning Allah's Signs? Whence are they, then, being turned astray? 69 Those who denied the Book and what We sent with Our Noble Messengers; so they will soon come to know. – 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 Then it will be said to them: "Where are (all) those whom you used to join in worship as partners 73 They will reply, "They have abandoned us. In fact, we had worshipped nothing" Thus does God cause the disbelievers to go astray. 74 this is an outcome of your having arrogantly exulted on earth without any [concern for what is] right, and of your having been so full of self-conceit! 75 “Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it forever”; so what a wretched destination for the haughty! 76 Wherefore persevere thou; verily the promise of Allah is true; then whether We let thee see a part of that wherewith We have promised them, or whether We cause thee to die, unto Us they all will be caused to return. 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
