Al-Insan 2 of 2

(Muhammad), We have revealed the Quran to you in gradual steps. 23 Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them. 24 and remember the name of your Lord, morning and evening; 25 Prostrate before Him and glorify Him extensively during the night. 26 Verily they love (the good of this world) that is hastily obtainable and are oblivious of the burdensome Day ahead of them. 27 We have created them and have given them strength. Had We wanted, We could have replaced them with another people like them. 28 Surely this is a reminder, so whoever pleases takes to his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will it unless God wills [to show you that way] -- God is indeed all-knowing and wise -- 30 He admits to His mercy whomever He wants. For the unjust He has prepared a painful punishment. 31
