Muhammad (Muhammad)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(As for) those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way, He shall render their works ineffective. 1 And (as for) those who believe and do good, and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the very truth from their Lord, He will remove their evil from them and improve their condition. 2 That is because the ones who deny the truth follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord. Thus God sets forth comparisons for mankind. 3 Now when ye meet those who disbelieve, smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly, then make fast the bonds; then, thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom, until the war layeth down the burthens thereof. That ye shall do. And had Allah willed, He would have vindicated Himself against them, but He ordained fighting in order that He may prove you one by the other. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall not send their works astray. 4 He will guide them and improve their condition. 5 and will admit them to the paradise which He has promised them. 6 O you who have attained to faith! If you help [the cause of] God, He will help you, and will make firm your steps; 7 And those who disbelieve, downfall shall be theirs, and He shall send astray their works. 8 This is because they disliked what Allah has sent down – He has therefore squandered all their deeds. 9 ۞ Have they, then, never journeyed about the earth and beheld what happened in the end to those [willful sinners] who lived before their time? God destroyed them utterly: and the like thereof awaits all who deny the truth. 10 This is because Allah is the Supporter of the believers, whereas the disbelievers do not have any supporter. 11
