▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
