▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
