Al-Insan 2 of 2
(O Prophet), indeed We have revealed the Qur'an to you in portions. 23 So wait patiently for the command of your Lord and do not yield to any sinful or disbelieving person among them (people). 24 And, remember the Name of your Lord at the dawn and in the evening; 25 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). 26 Surely men love what hastes away and forget the grievous day (ahead). 27 It was We who created them and made their constitution strong, but if We wish we can replace them with others like them. 28 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way. 29 Yet you will not unless Allah wills; surely, Allah is the Knower, the Wise. 30 He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom. 31
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
