Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what day is it timed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 until an appointed time? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
