▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Is it harder to create you or the heaven? But Allah built it, 27 high above? 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and preferred the present life, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
