The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
