The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
