The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
