The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
