The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
