The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
