Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the morning hours 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
