Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
