Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
